Factal makes it easy to keep travelers safe with new solution powered by International SOS itineraries

The image depicts a digital display board that resembles an airport departures board. The board has a dark background with white lettering and is divided into two columns. The left column is labeled "LOCATION" in yellow text and lists various city names vertically: Cape Town, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Milan, New York, Paris, and Singapore. The right column is labeled "TRAVELERS" in yellow text, showing numbers corresponding to each city. In the bottom right corner, there is a red rectangle containing the Factual logo with a stylized letter "F". The background is a subtle gradient of deep blue, giving a polished look to the overall design.

Travel risk management can be complicated to configure, but Factal’s new solution lights up with a simple flick of a switch. Travelers appear in the Factal map, feeds and notifications in the same easy-to-use experience our members know and trust. No setup, no new workflows – it just works.

The simplicity is the product of Factal’s strategic alliance with International SOS. While travelers still receive the same trusted advisories and alerts from International SOS, travel managers in the Factal platform can see fast, verified updates that pose a potential risk. This advance notice helps managers prepare a response, and our iterative coverage provides key details on the status and severity of incidents as they evolve in real time.

The image is a split-screen displaying a section of a map on the left and a list of traveler information on the right. The map section features outlined areas and roads with locations marked by icons representing hotels, showing clusters with different numbers of travelers. A pop-up box is overlaid on the map displaying information for "Ibis Styles Magdeburg," indicating it as a hotel with 7 travelers. The right section lists details about 17 travelers in 5 nearby locations, including emails divided according to their respective hotels such as "ibis Styles Magdeburg," "Ratswaage Hotel Magdeburg," and "Maritim Hotel Magdeburg." Each entry includes the number of travelers and their emails. Various control buttons are present on the image, like “copy all emails” and “Share with travelers.”

Designed to fit seamlessly into your workflow, Factal’s new travel solution delivers a unified view of risk. Travelers appear side-by-side with your offices, facilities and other assets in proximity to a critical event. Proximity alerts are powered by True Impact to ensure precision, and notifications are fully integrated to avoid duplication between your travelers and your assets. As our members come to expect from Factal, we work hard to reduce noise and keep unnecessary alerts to a minimum.

The image shows a map of Berlin with district names such as Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Mitte, and Prenzlauer Berg. The map has green areas representing parks or wooded regions, alongside grey and white areas indicating streets and buildings. Overlaid on the map is a red oval badge with the text "VIP" in white, located above a white rectangle. Inside the rectangle is a black suitcase icon and the number "1" in purple.

Factal’s solution is powered by International SOS’ itinerary data, which draws from a wide array of travel booking and management companies. As itineraries are added and changed, they’re reflected automatically in the Factal platform.

More than a typical integration, this strategic partnership has grown into a deep collaboration across product development, design and intelligence-sharing since its launch last year. Factal’s editorial team and International SOS’ analysts work side-by-side in real time within Factal chat, combining strengths to expand global coverage, sharpen situational awareness and stay ahead of mis- and disinformation.

After several months of testing, Factal’s new travel management solution is available for companies with their itineraries in International SOS. Factal members can contact their member success manager to learn more about this new add-on. Everyone else, reach us anytime at sales@factal.com.
